The Pilates Method
Joseph H. Pilates developed this exercise based upon his insights into the power of connecting the
mind, body and upon breath in focused movements.

Pilates incorporates both Eastern and Western philosophies of physical as well as mental conditioning.
This method develops STRENGHT, FLEXIBILITY and COORDINATION while improving body alignment,
awareness and balance. Working on specialized equipment with adjustable springs that provide tension and gentle
resistance, areas of weakness are strengthened and integrated into a functioning whole. Each exercise is a series
of movements that stretch and strengthen muscles throughout the body. Movements are continuous and flowing, releasing tension, opening joints, elongating the spine and toning the whole body to develop core strength giving you the ultimate workout.
